Doctor results.. Good and Not So Good

We have received several calls this week from the doctors that have performed Paislee's procedures last Monday. One was from the pulmonologist which I blogged about previously about the bacteria they found in her lungs. She is still on the antibiotic and so far she seems to be doing well. She still has several more days. Another call came from the gastroentologist. She wore a ph probe last week for 48 hours. The results are chronic reflux. We knew she had some but didn't know how bad it has become. It has not gotten better with time, but worse. She was put on new medication. She now is on a double adult strength dose of reflux med and has to repeat the test in 6 weeks. The ENT has called and is sending Paislee's biopsies to another lab for further investigation. Please, please keep us in your prayers about these results. This is a hard pill to swallow and we will not know the full result until all labs are final. The good news is we are finally finding answers. The not so good news is that we are discovering things we had no clue about. In the next week we should find more results. So we have more information and MORE MEDICINE! It's bad enough that Paislee rolls her window down to tell our pharmacist our address to confirm our prescriptions! Haha. Again, thank you for your messages, texts, and prayers. We have a long road to travel, but we have already come so far. We also have next week off from Vanderbilt which is a blessing also. Paislee will graduate from PreK and she has her dance recital next weekend which are big milestones and then we are out for the summer and we can enjoy each other's and little Sawyer's company on our way to the doctor! Lol
