End of school year and medical update

The school year has come to an end... So where do we spend our first day of break, none other than our place, "Vanderbilt Hospital". Paislee had feeding therapy and another echocardiogram. She did make some improvement in feeding, but as the therapist put it, "This is just the beginning." The doctor called this morning with results from echocardiogram and her heart is still enlarged. We are going to wait three more months to decide what to do. Hopefully it will go down in size and just heal. That will be six months after her surgery. Hoping and praying it will go down.
Her biopsy of her throat and some of lungs is still at the lab in California and it might be another week. We are on edge waiting for those results.
On a positive note, Paislee graduated from PreK last week and also had her dance recital. These were very special moments for us. I was so proud of both but I almost cried at the recital. She was out almost three months of lessons due to surgery, but she never quit and kept working hard.
This school year was exhausting. Sawyer had two surgeries and Paislee has had four so far. We are just so glad she is alive! We have a summer full of allergists, more gastro testing, pulmonology, and another ear surgery. So we appreciate all your thoughts and prayers.
Sawyer is growing up and taking more and more steps each day and he loves to find his belly button!
