Happy Easter to everyone! We went yesterday to Vanderbilt for a feeding evaluation and echocardiogram. Paislee has problems chewing her food and has always choked when eating or drinking so the doctors felt she needed to have a feeding evaluation. She has very low muscle tone in her tongue and cheeks. The doctor said that this was a trait of some cardiac patients. Never did I know that eating would be related to that. She did okay but now she has to go to Vanderbilt at least once a month for feeding so that is another appointment. She also had an echocardiogram and there was no change. Her heart is still enlarged and there was fluid still around it. We have to look at the bright side. At least it didn't get worse!
We then got to met up with some of our cousins in Nashville and relieved stress at the park.
Paislee loved playing with all of them!
She slept the whole way home! Sawyer got to spend the night with my nieces and I am sure he had a blast! Your thoughts and prayers are still appreciated as we are on this journey and will be for a while!
We hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend with your family and friends!
