Abnormal Test Results.....

You think it might be kinda over, yet it all starts again. Paislee recently went for a post op checkup.  We just got the news that Paislee now has RVH which is right ventricular hypertrophy. Her right side of her heart is enlarged from various causes. It could be narrowing of the arteries, high blood pressure throughout the body, or even due to kidney malfunction. What is it due to??  We have no idea. This showed up on her last heart tests.  Paislee's EKG has always been normal except when under stress medication.    ( dobutamine) but now it's abnormal under nothing which is not good at all. The doctor will continue to monitor it until making a final decision on what to do.  After all, Paislee's procedure was not a normal one.
Paislee also still has 2-3 mm of pericardial fluid around her heart also. Again no improvement on this since post op, which means more problems. It seems as though we are healing on the outside, but not on inside.
I didn't have any of this in mind, I just thought after surgery everything would be finished, everything would be fixed and it would be over. We will be going to Vanderbilt for a while for every two weeks to continue to check on all these situations and more.
You all have been a great support system from buying tshirts to bracelets. ( Thanks Amanda and Ashley for selling them)
Thank you also for your thoughts and prayers. For right now, we ask that you just pray for Paislee to start healing on the inside, that whatever might be wrong that the doctors find a way to fix it.  I told my supervisor today... I know God doesn't give you more than you can handle, but sometimes I think he confuses me with
the superhero, "SuperWoman".
As I always say, we will continue fighting, and we will thank God that Paislee is alive and tommorrow will be a new day. We will hold our heads up high and be ready to take on what's next in this medical journey.
