Another trip to Vandy... Again!!

 We made ANOTHER trip to Vanderbilt this week. We went to the preop clinic to get cleared for Paislee for her scope tests she is having next week for gastro, Ent, and pulmonology. We also had appointments for the ENT and the pulmonologist. The ENT is going to do surgery soon on her ear but wants to wait and see what he sees on this scope. He will be taking a biopsy of the sinus and looking at voicebox. The lung doctor explained he will look at the lungs and examine any scar tissue left from all the time Paislee has had pneumonia. Basically this test will examine all the damage done by Paislee's sickness over the years. Paislee's body was so busy fighting the heart tumor that it never could fight the other times she got sick.  So we are starting from the beginning!  We are hoping after all this we will get new reflux and other new medication that will help us. The heart tumor also prevented Paislee from getting certain meds such as a breathing machine etc because those speed your heart up. We are home now and guess what, Paislee is sick again. Please pray for Paislee's body to learn how to fight off infection. We have a week break and then we are back to Vanderbilt.
