Cardiologist Followup

Today was our first checkup appointment  with our cardiologist. We had an echo and an EKG. She did okay at first with the echo then broke down and cried. She said she was scared and also extremely anxious about the " stickers" coming off. Same with EKG so the nurses left her stickers and avoided a major breakdown. So when we got home, I had to remove them during a "major breakdown". It took 45 minutes but thankfully we have them all removed.  Due to her being sensitive to the " stickers" we are now covered in red blotches.  Paislee still has a little fluid around her heart but hopefully that will go  away within the next month. If not they might have to drain it which will not be fun at all. Our EKG was still a little abnormal but we are told it will hopefully get better with time, but there was some improvement. We still don't have all pathology results from tumor but will also receive those with time so in other words, we just have to WAIT... Those are words you don't want to hear, but we are "focusing on today". That's our only choice... Right?
Some positive news is:
Paislee got to attend her dance class tonight, which totally made her day!
Oh and drumroll please....Paislee is off of injections and now just on oral blood thinner medication. ( Thank goodness!) That is proof right there that God does answer prayers, especially mom and dads!
Paislee can go back to school at the end of the week with some restrictions!!

We still have to go to the cardiologist every month and still have to make sure there are no tumors in the other arteries. We are allowing her to heal more before more tests. So we have two weeks of a break from Vanderbilt. The next goal is vaccinations. She turns five next Monday so we have to get five year old shots, so more "ouchies"   Paislee is still tired a lot so we have to give her iron to help her become less tired and help her eating also.
So today we got not so good news about fluid still there, but we did get positive news. Right now we are focusing on the good news and hopefully with prayer and good ole time, we will heal.
