Off to surgery we go...

Here we go again!!! One more time! How many times have we heard this? Hopefully this will be our last. Our last surgery for a while. Paislee goes into Vanderbilt Children's to have oral surgery tomorrow. She is getting six extra teeth cut out of her gums. Yes you heard that right, six extra that are only seen right now with X rays. The biggest problem that we have is two of those teeth are growing upside down in the roof of her mouth toward her sinus cavity. Yeah we don't have normal things in the Stanley household. So once again we are loading up the car and heading to our second home it seems, Vanderbilt Children's. Paislee has no fear about surgery but her biggest fear is the mask they will use to put her asleep. I am nervous about this surgery because of the unknown. I know that her roof of her mouth will be cut and the bone will be restructured and the other part of her gums will be cut. I have no idea about her recovery time. The surgeon is also unsure so we are all in this together. I know we have been through our share of surgeries, but as you say your prayers tonight, please think about my sweet Paislee as she continues to be a fighter and we are hoping that this will be the last!
