This is my happy Paislee playing ear doctor! Today was the day we found out our ear surgery results.... It was a success! Paislee's right ear is now FINALLY in the normal hearing range! She still has a little more healing to go. Of course it will never be perfect like it was but it is in the " good" hearing range and that we can deal with! To give it more time to heal we are waiting on surgery until the later part of the summer. The bad news is the left ear has decreased more. The cartilage is thinning. This will be fixed with surgery. The doctor said that he thinks with the reconstruction and the titanium replacement of hearing bones that she may not need a hearing aid which was also good news. So one doctor down this year and many more to go but at least we have a break from the ENT for a couple of months!!
