Off from medical vacation

We are officially off our " medical vacation" from Vanderbilt. We start back tommorrow. Paislee has only been to eye doctor in the last three weeks. She has an absess in her eye that just doesn't seem to heal. We finally have it under control. We start back to Vanderbilt tommorrow for allergy testing. The ENT and pulmonologist have both referred us and this is part of our CADET clinic research we are also in. They will have to give her a mild sedation because let's face it, after heart surgery and blood thinner injections, needles are not something we look forward to, especially that many. I am hoping she stays calm where we can get results. Next week we go back for two days to Vanderbilt. 

On our break, my nieces have come and played, Rick has been off for a week,and Paislee had an opportunity to go to " farm camp" at my high school that their FFA hosts. Paislee also competed in a small fri triathlon which is a triathlon for kids in which she ran, biked, and they did sprinklers from the fire dept instead of swimming. She loved it and it was surreal watching her knowing that 4 and a half months ago, she had open heart surgery. Sawyer is officially a walker and is into everything. He even has a little temper that has come out lately. 

I have worked a summer job with the state the past three weeks so my summer vacation is starting NOW!! Time has flown by lately, but it has been nice having time at home and no big doctor visits. We have also taken little trips to Memphis just to have a break! So here we are back at it.... Wish us luck and please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers and we enter the next step into our medical journey!!
