"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go..." -Dr. Seuss
One of my favorite weeks throughout the school year is Read Across America week celebrating the birthday of Dr. Seuss. We make hats, decorate silly socks, and of course have the famous green eggs and ham. We had dressup days at our school from mismatched Monday to rockstar day and many others. Also, we get readers from the community to read to students at our school. I was really happy that Paislee's daycare participated in Read Across America week also. They had Wacky Wednesday, made green eggs and ham, and did activities with Red Fish, Blue Fish. Here are a couple of pictures from Wacky Wednesday. This was early in the morning, so Paislee is really not too happy.

Also this year, the movie "The Lorax" came out on March 2, so our school's shirts were made to look like the movie poster. I love this picture with Paislee's wonderful teacher at daycare, Mrs. Kim, and her buddy Jake.

"Don't cry before it's over, smile because it happened." -Dr. Suess
