Another doctor........

Another doctor is out of the way for 4 months..YAY!! Paislee had her follow up with her ENT yesterday. Her tubes have fallen out of her ears which could be a good or bad thing. It is good because at least we are somewhat healed from that part, it could be bad because we may not know when Paislee has an ear infection. I never imagined how much Paislee's reflux played a role in everything. The ENT explained that she is refluxing and it is burning her eustation tubes in her ears which is not good. Also, he discussed taking adenoids out but is still unsure due to reflux again. It is kinda acting like a stopper somewhat. Paislee is still waking up twice a night refluxing so bad it is waking her up. We were told it would take 3-4 weeks for the acid therapy to start working. It has been a week and a half and honestly, we haven't seen a difference. We still have time to go, so we are keeping our hopes up. We go back to see the ENT in December to discuss options again, until then maybe we have at least one doctor out of the way. "Nanny" came with us to the doctor, so after out appointment we went to eat and shopped at Target. But after a long afternoon at the doctors office, we had to take a break.......with some good ole' Starbucks!
