Paislee is in a toddler bed now. You wonder why I waited when most kids usually get one earlier than 2. Paislee has never climbed out of her crib at all and we just have never had a problem. Until one day.......I watched through the baby monitor after putting Paislee to nap...She jumped up and down and reached the lightswitch, climbed out of her crib and flipped onto the glider then jumped down and got a book out of the basket, put the book back into the crib and then climbed back in and turned off the light and then read her book. I called my husband and the bed was bought the next day and put together the next. If you know Rick, that is a pretty good turnaround. Usually I will have to ask for weeks. So now we are in the process of decorating her room more"girly". She has done great with the transition.
