Seven years today

Seven years ago today I walked down the beach and said " I do". Never did I imagine what those seven years would hold for us. We have two great kids and our marriage has been through so many ups and downs. I have been through the death of my dad and Rick went through the death of his mom and his only brother. We have a beautiful little girl who has been a strong fighter from the day she was born and a strong willed little boy who keeps us on our toes. We certainly didn't expect all that has gone on within our family to happen, but we have made it! We have stayed strong and made it! I do not wish for anyone to have to have a sick child or go through the many doctor and hospital visits we have especially in the last five years, but as we know...that is not our choice. Today, Rick and I are are celebrating seven years together and guess we we are headed..... to Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital. Paislee will be having surgery in the morning. Last year on our anniversary  Sawyer had emergency surgery. I hope this doesn't become a tradition.  Tonight we will head out and celebrate with Paislee because we are just so grateful to have her alive with us. It's a tradition we celebrate the night before surgery, so hotel is picked out and bags are packed! We will update you all and prayers are always appreciated!!!
